"Place of red corn"
Walk between the trails to discover one of the largest known archaeological sites in the Lake District. The main structures are Gran Basamento, The roads and Group II which correspond mainly to temples and places for civic activities.
A place that is very close to the beach of Mahahual. Tourists on cruises make tours to the ruins. One of the greatest pleasures is to see the families of monkeys that inhabit the trees pass by. Early in the morning or almost at the time of closing you can see the monkeys swing or if you are lucky to hear the howling monkeys.
